Back 2 The Bit — Game Details
A Companion Experience To The Album
Welcome to

Back 2 The Bit

A retro-inspired action platformer set inside a corrupted digital universe where music, memory, and code collide.

Enter the Bitverse, a fractured world powered by rhythm, forgotten data, and arcade-era energy. Fight through collapsing systems and battle rogue entities as you restore balance to a dying network. Built with the spirit of classic 2D platformers and infused with ArodReeds' latest album release, Back 2 The Bit is designed as both a game and a musical experience.

Current Status

The project is currently in active development, with future releases and improvements expected.

Back 2 The Bit was created as a companion to ArodReeds' recent album release under the same name. While crafting it, the world expanded to become what you see today. We hope you enjoy this game as much as we enjoyed putting it together — to bring us back to the feeling of turning on the Sega Genesis for the first time.

Each level features a track from the album, leading up to the final boss against the Mute King to decide the fate of the Bitstream.
